The Sailorshome
The Sailorshome has two main bedrooms, each with a King size bed and a single bed. Each room has its own private porch, which has two single beds. Two house bathrooms with hot showers. Kitchen and sitting room is shared.
Check out from rooms is 11am. Luggage can be stored for afternoon ferry departures.
Late check out available at half room rate. Check in between 2pm and 7pm.

Rates for each King size bedroom (King bed and single bed, plus two single beds in private twin bed balcony room):
$150 FJD (for 1-2 people)
$50 FJD per extra person
Max occupancy for half house is 4 to 5 people.

Rates for whole house (2 king size bedrooms with King and single bed, plus four single beds in private twin bed balcony rooms)
$300 FJD (for up to 4 people)
$50 FJD per extra person
Maximum occupancy is 8 people if each person has their own bed, with 2 persons per room (4 rooms). Maximum occupancy for family groups is 10 people if there are two people in each King size bed and one person in each single bed.
Trip to the "Sandbank"
Take a trip to the Sandbank at beautiful Maloi Reef, just 4km by boat from The BayStay. Swim, snorkel, eat and relax (weather permitting).
If you want lunch, Fish is caught on the way, and cooked for you over an open fire BBQ on the beach, and served with root crops, chili and lemon. True Fiji Style.

Bring your own sunscreen, hat, reef shoes, and snorkeling gear. We have towels.

$100 FJD for up to 4 people with no lunch

Sailorshome Levuka offers guided snorkeling of Levuka town area reef (Lekaleka Reef) $30 per person bring your own fins. Weather permitting.
Optional Extras
There is the option of taking a guided stroll to the waterfall, or asking the local villagers to cook your meal Fiji Style.
These activities can be arranged by you when you get here.
VILLAGE DAY TOUR AND SNORKELING WITH FISH LUNCH $50 PER PERSON PLUS TRANSPORT TO SILANA VILLAGE.
Please do not go wandering through the village or bushland on your own, as Fiji has traditional land owners, and you might be walking through someone's yard without knowing.
Please also pay fairly. We support fair trade.
Note that Fiji is a country where it is wise to take the weather, the tides, and the Sabbath into account, so please ensure you leave enough time to make arrangements.
Levuka Town
Take a walking Tour of Levuka Town. Levuka is Fiji's first Capital, before the capital was moved to Suva. Step back in time, and feel your mind relax. Rates $25 per person, how much you want to see, where you want to walk, and can be arranged with your guide.
Guided snorkeling of the Town Reef (Lekaleka Reef) $30 per person, bring your own fins, weather permitting.
Hike to Baba
Hike to Baba and the Peak (behind Levuka Town). Not for the faint hearted, but views to forever! $35 per person with a local guide.
The BayStay Rukuruku
The BayStay has two cottages, constructed in the traditional Fijian bure (bu-re) style. Each bure has its own ensuite hot water bathroom and access to a shared dining room and kitchen.
Minimum 2 nights stay. Check out from rooms is 10am. Luggage can be stored for afternoon ferry departures.

Bure has one double bed and one single bed.
$150 FJD (for 1-2 people)
Maximum occupancy is 2 people

Rates for whole compound:
$300 FJD (for up to 4 people)

Transfers from Levuka to the BayStay - Round the Island Trip
We do not provide transport from Levuka to The BayStay at Rukuruku.
If you don't have your own wheels, you can support the local taxi or carrier drivers.
Cost for carriers which run from town on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays is approximately $5 FJD per person each way.
Cost for a taxi from town is $50 FJD one way. Many drivers also do a trip right around the island, so ask them if that is something you want to do. ($150)
Wifi
Wifi is available for guests, within reason. But seriously, you may forget you even have smartphones after you put your feet in the sand.
Lovoni Inland Hike
Tour Lovoni Village, and have lunch with the locals. Hear about Lovoni's turbulent past! Prices vary, and this tour is arranged direct with tour operator. $90 per per person https://epistours.wixsite.com/epis-tours-lovoni
Rock Pool Walk
Walk to the Water Slide with your local guide, have a chat, have a swim, and breathe. $20 per person. Walk is 30 minutes from Rukuruku (weather permitting).
